First Capacitive Touchscreen by Nokia

For those Symbian operating system follower, Nokia has confirmed will releasing the Nokia X6, it come with music-centric touchscreen phone that will mark the company's first capacitive touchscreen phone. The phone follows the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music phone, which was the company's first touchscreen phone and Nokia's answer to Apple's iPhone onslaught. The Nokia blog mentions that native Finland and the UK will be getting the Nokia X6 next week and other countries follow soon after.

Video: Spotify on Symbian, Finally...

Those crazy kids over at Spotify have finally gone and done it ... they've released a Spotify app for Symbian. Why is this important you make ask? After all Spotify already exists for both the iPhone and Android. Well despite all the hoopla over the iPhone and even if Android is the up and coming star of the mobile OS scene, Symbian is still the most popular mobile OS and is on more devices than any other. The Symbian version of Spotify is pretty much the same as its iPhone and Android cousins, you still need a premium account to use it.

Download: Opera Mobile 10 Beta release

Opera Software announced the availability of Opera Mobile 10 beta for Windows Mobile, which according to the software firm, "elevates mobile browsing to a desktop-like experience, helping people to search, socialize and stay connected while on-the-go."


Video: HTC HD2 Digital Compass demo

The HD2 has a digital compass app like an iPhone but it work a bit different. After open the compass app you will need to “set destination” to a point on a map (Google Maps). Then at compass app the green dot will appear to show the direction of your target. The idea is that you walk in the direction of the green dot to get to your destination. This function would be especially useful for people in cities that navigate on foot or those that go camping.
